About Me
I’m Luke, an experienced full‑stack engineer who joins teams to ship, scale, and de‑risk. I help productionise ideas, improve reliability and performance, and fix issues that slow teams down.
I'm based in London, UK. And am available for remote, hybrid, or on-site work. I've worked within the NHS ecosystem for the past year, where I've led delivery and architecture for a number of full-stack projects.
I’ve led delivery and architecture across TypeScript/Node, React, and Java/Spring, operating from product to platform to infrastructure. I value pragmatic engineering, strong collaboration with PM/Design, and measurable outcomes.
Where I add the most value
- Joining a team to accelerate delivery and own critical outcomes
- Architecture and modernisation of legacy systems with incremental change
- Performance, reliability, and observability with clear SLOs and dashboards
- Platform & DX: CI/CD, testing strategy, and code health at scale
How I work
Start with a quick diagnostic and a prioritised plan. Deliver in small, verifiable increments, document the path, and uplift the team as we go. Clear communication, tight feedback loops, and a bias to action.
